Feature release for Joomla 5
Today we released Visforms and Visforms Subscription 5.0.1. We are pleased that we were able to implement numerous feature requests and improvements that were requested via the forum.
The feature release had a particular focus on Increasing effectiveness when working with Visforms.
New features always mean extensive changes to the existing code. We test all changes very thoroughly. But despite everything, it’s only us who are testing. That’s why feature releases with many new features are always released as beta versions.
If you are interested in one or more of the new features and want to use this Visforms version, please test thoroughly before using it on a productive system!
We endeavor to resolve any reported errors as quickly as possible.

Administration - increasing effectiveness when working with Visforms
- In the Fields, PDFs, Data views: Listbox for switching directly between the forms
- Always show menu entries for fields, PDFs and data
- New listbox for quick switching between views (forms, fields, PDFs and data views)
- List view fields: enable multiple selection in the search filters ‘field type’ and ‘frontend display’
- List view fields: Set selected field options for several fields at the same time using the batch function.
Selectable options are: Show Label, Required, Readonly, Edit-Only field and access level for the frontend data view of the field
Frontend - Search filters in data views
- New field option: Exclude field from search
- New field option: Allow multiple selection in filter field (with AND and OR condition)
- Allow text searches in named fields, such as searching for the record with ID 1 (ID:1)

- Provide the Read-Only option for all field types (except Buttons, File, Location and Signature)
